Outer chaos, inner calmness, and healing

The topic for today is longevity.

 

This is the end of 30 talks. I thought longevity would be a great topic. What have I learned from these 30 times I have spoken? What have I learned from the pandemic? What’s going on with the virus? What’s going on with people?

 

The outer chaos in this theme, you never know what is going to be happening? What’s going to come in our way? We can prepare. We can think. We can understand things. But still the mystery of the world, of the universe always surprised us. But what we do know is that some underline conditions, like with the virus, there is more so because people are vulnerable to their underlined conditions or their underlined illnesses make them more vulnerable to the power of that virus. That’s the way it works.

 

What do I have some control over these underlined conditions by overall health? The strength of my inner health, my inner body. Those are the things we always can prepare for the inner calmness and the healing. We can always be working on the inner calmness so that we don’t overreact to things and inner healing so that we have a healthy flow of life. There is a balance of western medicine and Spring Forest Qigong, the energy work.

 

I love that energy work. I love western medicine. Western medicine focuses a lot on the symptoms. What’s going on? How can we fix it? It is beautiful. Spring Forest Qigong says, “Let’s look at the system. How’s the energy flow?” The Qi has an intelligence, a consciousness. The Qi knows what to do. When I work with a lot of people, I always say, “Listen to western medicine what they have to offer. And practice Spring Forest Qigong.” It’s a wonderful balance of health. It’s a wonderful balance of looking at life.

 

Longevity, for me, is a concept. It’s not about how many years longer can I live so that I can party. Longevity is a concept, focus on how I can study this consciousness of life, because it takes so many years really to understand it the more completeness and more depth than before. So that longevity is not how I can increase the number of years alone like get old and die. No, the higher purpose is how I can keep this body working well so that I can learn more things, so I can go deeper into the consciousness, so I can raise the power of my inner energy and my sense of connection to the wisdom and to the understanding of life. To have that understanding of life continue beyond my life.

 

So, there is reality and spirituality. The reality says, “At some point I am not going to be around.” Spirituality says, “At some point I can learn a lot of things and learn them at a deeper level.”

 

I have a 4-year-old granddaughter. I make pancakes for her in the morning. I put food colorings in so sometimes green dragons. I cut out dinosaurs. All sorts of different shapes. She loves them. Whenever I die thought, these pancakes will no longer be made. That’s reality of things. My hope is my depth of consciousness, my connection to this understanding of life, this powerful energy of understanding, so when my body passes on, I have access to that energy for everyone else, my little granddaughter has access to this energy. Hopefully this love energy. She can call on, “I want a new pancake.” That’s not possible. But she can be connected to this higher energy. All of us have that ability and opportunity to have this higher energy, to have this love of life not just in the reality things, but in a deeper and more profound way that people have access to.

 

This is part of your choices now. Is it to continue to make your commitment just to live longer number of years or to go deeper and study the understanding of the consciousness of life? It’s so beautiful there.
