I love doing Spring Forest Qigong. It is such an incredible practice of health and healing. It focuses a lot of energy work. When the energy body is stable and balanced, then the physical body does well. When the energy body does not, then it shows in the physical body.

I want to tell you a few things about how that energetic body works. The relationship to the emotions and reactions we are having with this crisis of the virus. So, the human condition, it brings out the best of us. See everything going on. People are trying to help, love, and care. Help out and volunteer. Bring out something already in us. It gives up a chance to be as loving, to be as kind. It also brings out the worst of us. Suspicions, fear, and paranoia. Hoping things happen that have no foundation to it. We become kind of protective. It is a balance of both.

The crisis brings out the best of us. And it brings out the worst of us as well. How can we find out a way to work with the things that are not the best of us from a vibration level? We bring out the best of us, the higher vibrations, the healthier response inside of our body. We bring out the worst of us. It a lower vibration makes our body weaker. It affects the body in a lot of other ways.

One way I under is the anger and anxiety. It is like a 3 legs stool. One leg is irritation. Another leg is agitationAnd another is frustration. Lay on the seat is I am not getting my way. It’s not like a little kid. I am irritated because I am not getting my way. I am frustrated because I am not getting my way. I am agitated because I am not getting my way. None of those are bad things. It’s not immature, but it is a reaction that I am not getting my way whether it’s physically, emotionally, or something. That’s about anger. Anger is a vibration that affects the liver. Liver is the energy system help to do detoxification. It moves out the acidic energy within us. Under the anger, it is always the sadness. So, it affects the liver and the lungs. The sadness relates to the lungs. Releasing the body’s lower vibration comes out the worst of us in some way, so that the liver can do its work, so the sadness energy can also leave us.

The second part of that, the anxiety. Dynamic anxiety is moving us into future with a catastrophe is coming. But now we are living in the present. Dynamic anxiety is moving us out of happiness. Anxiety does not like happiness. What does the liver love? Happiness. The vibration of happiness moves out the anger, moves out the anxiety. That vibration and emotion.

Let me share with you 3 quick movements in order to help that. One is the breathing, the lung system. Inhale from the bottom of the feet. Let the inhale come all the way into your body. Just let the mind follow the breath. Exhale, from the top of the head all the way down. Let your mind follow that breath to the bottom of your feet. Don’t worry about the lungs. Don’t worry about the diaphragm. Inhale, all the way up to the top of the body. Exhale, all the way down to the bottom of your feet. Find a way to have a pattern. Don’t worry about doing it perfectly.

My theme is outer chaos, inner calmness and healing. In this way, you create an inner calmness inside of you. Find a way to make the energy move in a circular pattern. It will really benefit the liver and lung system.

The other thing, sometimes the brain thinks it is in charge of everything. But it is not. The brain has a lot of information. The heart is in charge. The brain thinks it knows everything. So, when the brain gets more and more energy, it thinks about a lot of things, about the reports, about this and that, about this possibility and that possibility. One thing you can do is to bring your mind’s focus down to this area LDT) of your body. Keep bringing your mind down into this part of the body. Sometimes it refers to grounding, but it really is just moving that energy back into the center of the body where it needs to be.

Don’t just try one. Well, I tried once 5 minutes, 10 minutes. Bring that energy down. Then the brain stops thinking so much. Over worrying, over thinking, over doing, etc. Bring it back down.  Then the other thing to do for your lung system. Left arm out. Cupping all the way down. Inside and outside. Repeat on the other arm.

Several things you can do. Circulate your breath. Bring your focus down to Lower dantianThen cupping your arms. Calmness and healing. Calmness and healing.
